By creating a SpireSlip account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the platform.
SpireSlip computes Nigerian statutory payroll deductions, including PAYE, pension, NSITF, NHF, and ITF, and initiates salary disbursements via the Paystack Transfer API using credentials you provide. SpireSlip is not a bank. SpireSlip does not hold your funds at any point. SpireSlip is not a tax filing service: it generates filing-ready reports but does not submit returns to NRS or PenCom on your behalf.
You must provide accurate information when registering an account. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@spireslip.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Plans are billed in NGN through Paystack. Your price and billing period are agreed with you and confirmed before you subscribe, and may change with 30 days notice. You will be charged at the start of each billing period.
New customers may be offered a free trial. The length of your trial is confirmed to you when it is set up, and no card is required. Only one trial is permitted per company, determined by the email domain you sign up with. After the trial your account converts to a paid subscription or becomes inactive if you choose not to continue.
You may not use SpireSlip to process payroll for employees who do not exist, manipulate tax computations, or use the platform for any purpose that violates Nigerian law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Your use of SpireSlip is subject to our Privacy Statement. Enterprise accounts may request a Data Processing Agreement from our Data Protection Officer at dpo@spireslip.com.
SpireSlip applies the NRS tax brackets and PenCom pension rates published at the time of each payroll run. We update rates when NRS or PenCom publishes new figures. Spirecore Technologies Limited is not liable for NRS or PenCom enforcement actions arising from rate changes not yet reflected in the platform, provided we updated rates within 30 days of official publication.
SpireSlip initiates transfers via your Paystack account. We are not liable for failed transfers caused by Paystack downtime, incorrect bank details you provided, or insufficient Paystack balance. Our retry logic will attempt failed transfers up to three times before flagging them for your attention.
SpireSlip and all platform content are the property of Spirecore Technologies Limited. You retain ownership of your payroll data.
We may suspend your account if payment fails after a 7-day grace period, or if you violate these terms. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
After cancellation you retain read-only access to your account for 90 days. Payroll records and payslips are retained permanently per NRS requirements even after access is revoked.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, the liability of Spirecore Technologies Limited is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We will notify you by email 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State. Please contact hello@spireslip.com first so we can try to resolve any issue directly.
