This Privacy Statement applies to anyone visiting spireslip.com and using the SpireSlip payroll platform. Spirecore Technologies Limited is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), 2023.
Spirecore Technologies Limited operates SpireSlip as a payroll processing platform for Nigerian businesses. Where an employer uses SpireSlip to process its employees' payroll, the employer is the data controller and Spirecore Technologies Limited acts as data processor on the employer's behalf.
SpireSlip uses session cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function. See "Cookies and analytics" below for the only optional cookies, which are set only if you accept them.
Personal data collected through the platform may be processed for purposes such as:
To provide these services, SpireSlip processes account-holder details (name, business email address, company name, phone number, and billing information) and, on behalf of employers, employee data including full name, contact details, bank account details, National Identification Number (NIN), Tax Identification Number (TIN), Pension Fund Administrator details, and salary components. Where applicable, personal data will be transferred to, stored, or processed outside Nigeria and only be processed for legitimate and lawful purposes. We do not sell personal data to any third party.
Data is stored on StartHost servers located in the United Kingdom, subject to United Kingdom data protection law and the transfer provisions of the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023. Sensitive fields, including bank account numbers, NIN, TIN, and Pension Fund Administrator details, are encrypted at rest using AES-256. All connections are served over HTTPS, access is restricted by role and IP controls, and sensitive actions are audit-logged.
The logged-in SpireSlip app uses no third-party tracking, analytics or advertising tools, except Google Analytics if you have accepted it on the public help centre: that choice also applies to the help pages when you open them while signed in. Otherwise only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep your account secure are set there.
On the public help centre we ask whether we may use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors find and use SpireSlip. Nothing loads unless you choose Accept. If you accept, Google sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (they identify your browser to Google Analytics and expire after up to 2 years, as configured in Google Analytics) and usage data is sent to Google. If you choose Decline, nothing is loaded and your choice is remembered.
Your choice is stored for 12 months in the cookie sc_privacy_consent. You can change or withdraw it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of the public help centre; withdrawing removes the Google Analytics cookies and stops them from the next page you open.
This website (spireslip.com) sets no analytics or advertising cookies.
When you send us a form on spireslip.com (a demo booking or request, the lead form on the home page or the payroll risk quiz), we also keep how you found us: your answer to the optional question "How did you hear about SpireSlip?", the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), the name of the website you came from and the first page you opened. We keep this with your request and use it to count where our enquiries come from. This is kept only in your browser tab until you send the form.
